The overall planning and implementation of the Blue Skies Initiative is the responsibility of the Consortium which is made up of 13 representatives from groups and organisations in West Dublin.
The Consortium is the decision making body for the Initiative and is tasked with approving budgets and setting the direction for the project.
Frances McHugh, Assistant Director Public Health Nursing, TUSLA’s Peter O’Neill, Brenda Breen of HSE SLT and Áine Lynch of the National Parents Council Primary are all part of the Consortium.
Also sitting on the board is Director Deansrath Family Centre, Siobhan Feehan, Karin Johnston of Quarryvale Family Resource Centre, Emma Kiernan of Collinstown SCP, Fiona Dempsey of South Dublin County Childcare Committee and Clondalkin Drugs Task Force representative Tara Deacy.
The Consortium also includes a representative from Early Childhood Ireland and the South Dublin County Partnership as well as two local principals, Ann Tobin of St Peter Apostle JNS and Breeda Bonner of St Bernadette’s JNS.
The current focus of the consortium is to drive the mainstreaming and sustainability of the Blue Skies Initiative.
